Om Shri Hari Trading Pvt Ltd
Delete your account
Applies to the OSHT mobile app, listed as OSHT - Agro Trading on Google Play and the App Store (earlier listed on Google Play as “OSHT (Om Shri Hari Trading)”) · Updated 2 October 2026
There are two ways, and both make exactly the same deletion: do it yourself in the app, at once, or ask us by email or phone — no app needed.
Delete your account yourself, inside the app. It happens at once.
Open the app and tap Profile (प्रोफ़ाइल) — the person icon at the right end of the bar along the bottom of the screen — then Delete my account (मेरा खाता हटाएँ) at the foot of that page. The same row is also under Profile → Help (मदद). The app shows what will be deleted and what the firm keeps; press the red Delete my account button to confirm.
If your app does not show Delete my account, it is an older version: update it from the App Store or Play Store, or ask us (below). If your account is suspended or still waiting for approval, the app cannot open that page — ask us instead.

Email us
Call +91 99354 35500
Email address: omshriharitradingpvtltd@gmail.com
Tell us:
- the mobile number registered on the account, and
- your name and your firm’s name (a supplier: the company name or its GST number).
The email link fills in the subject “Delete my OSHT account” and a short form for these.
How we check it is you. We do not delete an account on an unchecked email. We call you back on the registered number, or ask you to send us a message from it. If you no longer have that number, say so, and the office will agree another way to confirm it is you, such as your firm’s GST details.
Then we delete it. The office deletes the account with its own delete-on-request tool. It is exactly the same deletion as the app’s button: the same things are deleted and the same records are kept (below). It is recorded that you asked, and we tell you when it is done.
This works if you no longer have the app, if your version has no Delete my account, if your account is suspended or still waiting for approval, and if you started signing up but never finished — then there is no account yet, and the office removes the sign-in record that holds your number.
What happens when you confirm in the app
The account is deleted immediately. The app signs you out on that phone and on every other phone signed in to the account, and the sign-in screen tells you it is done. There is nothing to fill in and nobody to call. It cannot be undone: a broker signing in again later with the same number starts a new account. (If our sign-in provider has not yet let go of the number, the app says the account is still being closed; the office has been alerted and finishes it.) For a supplier, the login and personal details are deleted in exactly the same way. The company's supplier record stays with Om Shri Hari Trading as a business record, because the trades name it (see below). The number no longer signs in by itself: to use the app again, the company would need a new sign-up through the office. Nothing of the deleted login comes back.
What is deleted
- Your login. You can no longer sign in to this account, and it cannot be reopened.
- The name, mobile number and email address on your login, and your photograph if you added one. Anywhere the app looks your account up, it now reads “Deleted user”.
- The sign-in record at our sign-in provider (Supabase) that holds your number. If that step fails, the office is alerted, and it is removed again when the number is next used.
- Your notification settings — the notification tokens for your phones, your market-alert preferences and your price alarms — and what we noted about your phone (its app version and whether notifications work). No app notifications are sent to you any more; a supplier company’s order emails still go to the email on its company record while the firm trades with us.
- Any exemption from the sign-in code. Your number is also removed from the office’s “a broker joined” notice.
- Voice messages you sent the office (“Tell us something”), including the recordings and the office’s replies to them.
- On your phone, the app forgets its session, its sign-in key, any papers still waiting to be sent, and your answer to the AI question.
Switched off, with a record kept
- Your ways in. The sign-in keys on your phones, the office’s sign-in code for you and every open session stop working at once. The keys are switched off rather than erased, because the security log’s past sign-ins point at them, and the name label on each key is cleared.
- Your permission for AI (the app’s voice, Madam and reading your papers) is switched off on our server, whatever you had answered, so nothing more of yours is read by AI — not even a paper still waiting to be read — and a deleted account is never read by AI again. What you had answered is noted in the record of the deletion.
What we have to keep, why and for how long
- Trade records — orders, lorries (with the driver’s number typed at them), every paper uploaded for them including replaced versions, photos of handwritten orders, payments, ledger entries, and the notifications about them. Why: they are this company’s accounting books, records of a transaction between two firms. How long: at least as long as Indian law requires — the Companies Act requires books of account to be kept for eight financial years — and they are kept with the firm’s trading records; nothing deletes them automatically after that.
- The firm record the trades name. For a broker: the name you registered under (usually your own), firm name, city, state, GST number and broker code. For a supplier: the company’s legal and trade name, GST and PAN numbers, address, and the contact person’s name, number and email. Why: every one of those trades names it, and a supplier’s number stays so the company cannot sign back in without the office. How long: kept with the firm’s trading records.
- Your name where it was written on a trade at the time — as the broker or supplier on a deal, or as who raised or changed an order in its history. Why and how long: the same as the trade it is written on.
- The security log — your sign-ins (with the number used, the IP address, and for a phone’s own sign-in key, the label it was registered under: your name and your role or phone type), older requests for a sign-in code (number and IP address), your registration (with your number and GST number), name changes (old and new name), answers to a new rate (with the description your phone’s software sent), office actions on your account, and the deletion itself. The deletion itself is logged without your name or number when you use the app’s button (it keeps the IP address it came from and what you had answered to the AI question); for a deletion you ask us for, the office’s short note of how you asked and how we confirmed it was you is kept with that record (the office is told not to write your name or number in it), and your request email stays in our mailbox until the office deletes it. Why: security and fraud checks, and proof that the account was deleted. How long: no fixed end date.
- AI-written text you reported — a Madam answer, or a news summary, morning brief or market alert — with the question or headline and the IP address it came from. Why: moderation, so the office can check it and act on it. How long: no fixed end date.
- Messages already sent to the office’s internal alert chat (Telegram): a request for a sign-in code names you and your number, a report you made names you, and an alert that people could not sign in may name you. Our system cannot recall them, and they are not removed automatically.
Nothing that is kept is used for anything but the reasons given here, and nothing is ever sold or shared for advertising. How the app handles information generally is in our Privacy Policy.
